Carla Takacs, CAP-OM

Business Operations Manager

Carla D. Takacs began her career at the University of Pittsburgh in 1992 as a temporary employee. Within two weeks, she was hired FT as the Administrative Assistant for Management Information and Policy Analysis (MIPA) – now Institutional Research. In 1999, Carla transferred to the Innovation Institute’s former Office of Technology Management as an Administrative Assistant to the Director. Over the years, she has moved up from Administrative Assistant to Executive Assistant, and in her current position as Department Administrator for the Innovation Institute. Carla is a Certified Administrative Professional with a specialty in Organizational Management (CAP-OM). She is a notary public and a member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals. She enjoys volunteering for Pitt’s United Way – Day of Caring. Carla is a graduate of Bradford School in Pittsburgh where she graduated with honors.
