Carolyn Weber MBA

Carolyn Weber is a Technology Licensing Associate at the University of Pittsburgh’s Innovation Institute. Her area of focus is on the software and copyright innovations from all areas of the university. Many of the technologies managed end up as the basis for new startup companies out of the university as well as licenses to established companies.
Prior to this position, Carolyn was the Technology Marketing Manager at the office and was responsible for putting together materials to feature and promote all technologies that were currently available for licensing from the university.
Prior to joining Pitt, Carolyn worked as a Registered Pharmacist and a store manager for almost 20 years in the retail pharmacy sector. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy and the Katz Graduate School of Business. Her tenure began at the office as a Katz Technology Fellow through the Heinz Fellowship Program after receiving her MBA.
