Brian Vidic

Brian Vidic serves as the Director of Industry Partnerships and is responsible for creating and maintaining broad, value-based research partnerships with industry. Brian brings nearly thirty years of private and public sector success to the Office of Industry & Economic Partnerships. Prior to joining Pitt, Brian delivered business incubator and financing solutions, leading sales efforts on the U.S. east coast and across the U.K.  He spent the next ten years in the healthcare sector, leading several clinical and operational initiatives across the Physician Services Division at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.  At Pitt, Brian led multiple business functions across the Engineering School, co-led the turnaround of a major core facility, and created a new revenue line focused on industry access to core facilities.  Brian received his Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Pittsburgh.
