UpPrize 2022 Social Innovation Challenge Final Showcase

The UpPrize Social Innovation Challenge, administered by Innovation Works and fully funded by the BNY Mellon Foundation of Southwestern Pennsylvania, returned for a fifth year to bridge the gap between the nonprofit and entrepreneurial communities and increase the number of impactful technology-based solutions targeted to critical social challenges. In 2022, the UpPrize Social Innovation Challenge focuses on technologies supporting racial and economic justice while also strengthening diversity, equity and inclusion among entrepreneurs and businesses in southwestern Pennsylvania’s tech ecosystem.
Since its launch in 2015, the UpPrize Social Innovation Challenge has allocated more than $2.5 million in investments, grants and technical assistance. The 2022 cycle will continue the mission of supporting impactful technology that improves nonprofit service delivery and the lives and experiences of people in the region.
Join us on November 29, 2022 to celebrate our semfinalist and learn who our finalists will be!
The evening will feature pitches from our innovative semifinalists, the announcement of the top three finalists who will be awarded prize monies of $300,000 and serve as a celebration of social entrepreneurship and innovation in southwestern Pennsylvania.
