2023 Pitt Celebration of Innovation

You are invited to join us to celebrate the accomplishments of Pitt innovators who are seeking to improve people’s lives through the commercialization of their ideas and discoveries.
What: Celebration of Innovation

Where: Petersen Events Center, Campus View Club
Hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be provided.
In addition to recognizing Pitt faculty and students and regional entrepreneurs who have achieved a major innovation milestone, such as submitting an invention disclosure, obtaining a patent, or launching a startup company, the Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship will present several special awards:
- Emerging Innovator
- Student Innovators of the Year
- James “Chip” Hanlon Volunteer Mentor
- Startup of the Year
- Business of the Year: $1M +
- Small Business of the Year: <$1M
- Marlin Mickle Outstanding Innovator
