Don Morrison


Don is a serial entrepreneur and visionary leader who has consistently leveraged technology to improve the customer experience and top and bottom-line results. Don has been involved in the growth and development of several businesses, including American Eagle Outfitters, from one to 165 stores as President and CEO, Sundance Catalog Company as Executive Director, and Bear Creek Corporation as Senior VP of Sales and Marketing. He is currently chairman of deal flow for BlueTree Allied Angels, a Pittsburgh-based angel investment organization. Mr. Morrison is actively involved in mentoring and coaching several start-up and early-stage companies in the region and serves on several boards of directors and advisors including, Pittsburgh Green Building Alliance and The eCenter @ Linden Pointe.


Mary Beth Green, MBA, MPIA


Mary Beth’s business expertise has been applied broadly, from mobile apps to medical devices, operational efficiency software to polymer chemicals, sustainable fuels to global supply-chain solutions. Current special interests include clean technology, health and wellness and education. At Philips Respironics, Mary Beth launched cutting-edge software solutions and diagnostic medical devices that improved user engagement and choice. At Bayer Corporation, Mary Beth pioneered innovative sourcing and supply-chain technology as an early customer of FreeMarkets, now Ariba/SAP, and CombineNet, now SciQuest. She later joined CombineNet to help grow the business from $1 to $14 million. Mary Beth earned her MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, an MPIA from the University of Pittsburgh and a BA in Economics from the University of Illinois.


Jeanine McCreary

Jeanine is the President of the McCreary Group, a company noted for helping large and small organizations with project analysis, development, implementation, and management. Jeanine has extensive experience in program & curriculum development in the areas of entrepreneurship, financial literacy, life skills training, and real estate.  Jeanine served on the board of directors of the Erie School District and has been nominated to be seated on the National School Board of Directors and previously served on the Pennsylvania State Board of Education. Jeanine holds a BS degree from Penn State University.


John Riley, MBA


John’s new venture experience as an investor, advisor, executive and board member spans healthcare IT, mobile cloud-based applications, medical device manufacturing and affective computing. His corporate career included functional leadership roles for global medical device and technology firms in corporate development, strategic planning and finance. He holds an M.B.A. from Duke University and a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh.

Greg Coticchia, MBA, PC

Greg Coticchia

Greg is an award-winning technology executive with over twenty-five years of experience in high tech products and services. He has led or been a major contributor in two of the largest and most successful software companies in the world, LEGENT (now CA) and AXENT (now Symantec). Greg has been in fourteen start-ups, founding four, and has held executive positions for better than two-thirds of his career, participating in various size organizations, from $0M to over $1B in revenue. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh in Industrial Engineering, where he also received his MBA, he currently teaches several courses including B2B marketing at the University Of Pittsburgh Katz School Of Business. He holds certificates in Entrepreneurial Management from Carnegie Mellon University and Professional Coaching from Duquesne University. Greg was named as a finalist three times for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and for the Tech 50 CEO of the Year. He was also named a 2006 Distinguished Graduate of the University of Pittsburgh (Katz).


Alan Martello, Phd, MBA


Alan Martello is a life long Pittsburgh native with 4 degrees from Pitt including an Engineering PhD and MBA. He started and ran a software and hardware company for over 20 years before a successful exit to a public company. Today he keeps busy coaching entrepreneurs, mentoring businesses and advising non-profits. He evaluates companies and pitches for investors and regularly provides feedback to startups seeking funding. Alan specializes in facilitating effective decision making, product positioning, customer engagement and team building using design thinking and visual problem solving.
