About Our Speaker:
Hervé joined PPG in 2003 as site director for the industrial coatings manufacturing facility in Saultain, France. Tiberghien relocated to the company’s European headquarters in Rolle, Switzerland, in 2007 as human resources director for the Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, and he added human resources responsibility for the architectural coatings – EMEA business to his role in 2008. In 2011, he was promoted to oversee human resources for the global industrial coatings business, adding further to his EMEA role.
Tiberghien relocated to PPG’s global headquarters in Pittsburgh in 2014 as global human resources director, organization planning and development and architectural coatings, and he advanced in September 2015 to become senior director, global human resources. He assumed his current role in March 2016.
Prior to joining PPG, Tiberghien worked as a quality manager for non-stick cookware with TEFAL S.A. (SEB Group) in France, and he gained further experience through roles with AGC Automotive Europe – first as integration manager; then as quality director, EMEA; and finally as plant director for the company’s glass manufacturing operation in Fleurus, Belgium.
A native of France, Tiberghien earned a DESS in Gestion des Entreprises (master’s degree in business management) from the University of Lyon III (Jean Moulin – Lyon 3 University) and a Master of Human Resources from HEC Saint-Louis in Brussels (ICHEC Brussels Management School).
