This year, the Women in Computer Science (WiCS), Computer Science Club (CSC), Department of Computer Science, and Innovation Institute are delighted to bring you She Innovates, Pitt’s only all-women hackathon.

The event will be held in the School of Computing and Information (formerly Information Sciences Building) on Friday, January 20-Sunday, January 22, 2017.

The hackathon is for all female students – undergraduates and graduates – in the Greater Pittsburgh area with or without a computer science background. All experience levels are encouraged to register. Come for a weekend filled with hacking, technical talks, mentorship, and fun!

If you are without a team or hacking experience, don’t stress! The She Innovates kick-off party will feature team formation, idea pitching, and a Q&A session for first-time hackers. You can also find a team ahead of time using Pitt’s TeamFinder. We will even have mentors on site to help guide you through the hacking process.
